PPC Advertising Management

Pay-Per-Click That Pays Off

If you have to pay to play, make sure you’re spending your precious marketing budget efficiently and strategically. Small tests to ensure we’re connecting with the right targets, and pushing thoughtful and creative ads at the right time that help you reach your growth goals.

This means, we’ll be the ones watching daily spend caps, letting you know when it’s smart to pull back based on competition and rates, and when to lean in to cast the widest net to connect with your potential customers. No more anxiety about what to test, no more “oops, I forgot I was spending $10 per day on that and we weren’t getting much out of it.” We got you, boo.

Even Small Spends Can Achieve Big Goals

Every project starts with an audit and thorough research. This includes a competitive analysis and keyword research to determine the best messaging to match your offer and audience.

Then we’ll work to develop your ad creative. Depending on what platforms we recommend, that may mean simple headlines and descriptions, or it could mean beautiful graphics and visuals.

Then we work to determine the parameters of your ad sets. We build out the audience demographics for who we want to see your ads, on which platforms, and determine the best budget.

And of course, we’re not done there. We check in regularly to review your ad campaign performance and make tweaks to ensure you’re getting the most engagement from your ad budget and reporting back what we learned to make it even better next time. We love optimizing!

Ad Account Strategy

What keywords should you bid on, what campaigns vs ad groups should you have, and targeting parameters are just some of the aspects of a documented ad account strategy.

Account Setup & Building

To get your Google Ads up and running, we need to open an account and set up the infrastructure mentioned in the strategy portion. The next step would be writing and building the ads themselves.

Creative Development

What should your ad headlines and descriptions be to best match the searcher's intent and be compelling enough to attract a click?

Audiences & Targeting

We can help you decide who you should be targeting, from geographic and time parameters, to narrow attributes that make your ads even more custom.

Regular Maintenance & Optimization

Google PPC ads can have an immediate impact on your business, but they require regular maintenance and optimization to make sure your money isn't being wasted and you're getting the best bang for your buck.

Retargeting

Especially when your sales cycle is long, retargeting ads can follow up with folks who clicked on your original ads, maybe visited your website, but haven't purchased yet.

Testimonials That Make Us Blush

Britany Lovins

Chief Marketing Officer, The Champion Companies - Westerville, Ohio
Lindsey and Jessica with Pastimes Marketing have been a tremendous resource for our business growth and success. They continually ask great questions to understand our marketing needs and have made a plan to match our business goals. Partnering with them has allowed us to prioritize and focus on other aspects of our business, while still having confidence that they were behind the scenes maintaining and maximizing our online presence through managing our Google Ads campaigns. We have seen an increase in clicks, a decrease in overall spend and much higher quality scores. I'm continually amazed at the depth of their knowledge and am incredibly grateful for our partnership. If you need help promoting your business, developing your brand or finding new customers, I highly recommend Pastimes Marketing!

Frequently Asked Questions About Google PPC Management

How much do Google PPC Ads cost?

If someone's managing your Google ads, they'll have a fee, but as for the cost of the ads themselves, that's hard to say for sure because the cost of your ad clicks will depend on your industry competition, and the keywords you are bidding on. But based on an average keyword cost, we'll come up with a daily and monthly budget that will take into consideration what you're comfortable spending, and your business goals.

How long does it take to see results from Google PPC Ads?

The great thing about Google PPC ads is that you can see results pretty immediately, as long as your keywords, ad copy, and landing page are all working together well. Like most campaigns, some optimizing will only make them better, so expect your ads to really start working about 30 days into your campaign. Because of their immediate impact, Google PPC ads can be a great complement to your long-term organic SEO efforts.

What does Google PPC Management usually include?

We recommend since your ads are actively spending money each day, that someone reviews them at least 1x per week, looking for negative keywords to add, ad copy changes and bid or targeting changes. Then, you should expect some sort of performance analysis at least 1x per month, with recommendations for things like quality score improvements and conversion rate improvements.

If I work with you, do I own my Google Ads, or do you?

We'll work with you to set up your Google Ads account so that you have full access and control at any time. Since Google ads need a credit card or bank account for billing, it's best that the client's billing information is applied directly to the account, so that they can do their own accounting. We then only bill for the management services.

Will Google PPC Ads work for my business?

We want to be honest that not every business may benefit from Google PPC ads. But, if your business has products or services that people often search for, or at the very least addresses a problem for which people often search for a solution, then Google Ads could well for you. Just be sure that you have a good place for them to land on your website when they find you.
